This “Starter Kit” provides an introduction to academic teaching to beginners or experienced lecturers who want to freshen up their teaching skills.
Apart from discussing some basics of teaching and learning in higher education we will cover topics such as course design and student activation. We will practice and discuss different teaching methods and tools. There will be time to work on your own course designs and to discuss them with peers.
This will be a very interactive workshop that consists of live sessions and asynchronous self-study phases. Please be prepared to participate actively!
