There are several strategies for linking research and teaching: As a teacher, I can in my courses
- report on my own research,
- reflect on and further develop research questions together with students,
- analyse research proposals with them,
- teach research methods,
- guide students in conducting their own research,
- teach the research cycle: from choosing a topic, developing a research question, selecting methods, developing a research design to conducting, evaluating, reflecting on and presenting the results.
- Set an example of how good research practice can be designed.

Instilling an attitude of inquiry, confidence in scientific reasoning as a means of critical evaluation and continuous questioning is essential in the face of an increasing confusion of everyday life and science.
In the workshop, we will try out methods for implementing the various strategies of research in teaching.
Learning Goals
After the course, participants will have
- reflected on different methods of linking research and teaching,
- developed methods (Working forms (what) and Social forms (how)) so that students can "research" or pursue questions as independently as possible,
- developed concrete ideas on how to accompany students in their learning.
The participants will shape the workshop through their inputs, theory, practical examples, discussions, exercises, reflections, feedback, presentations and much more.
